The Beginning
Where it all started
The Jerky Co was established in Perth, Western Australia, by founding directors Brandon, Claudio and Dino. Driven by a shared passion for crafting high-quality, locally produced and delicious premium air-dried meats, we set out to create a brand that would redefine the dried meat industry.

Growing the Range
More products, more fans
With our kiosks thriving across Perth shopping centres, we recognised the need to introduce new customers to The Jerky Co experience. In response, we launched our signature sample bags range, designed to let customers explore our full range of flavours from anywhere.

Finding Our Feet
Building the brand
We opened our first retail kiosk in Ellenbrook Central Shopping Centre, followed by our Perth CBD flagship store, bringing premium air-dried meats closer to the local market. This year also marked the launch of our e-commerce website, making our products accessible nationwide. Additionally, we began our wholesaling journey, introducing a retail ready packaged range to select retail partners and expanding our reach across Australia.

Rapid expansion led us to open new kiosks in major Perth shopping centres, including Joondalup, Whitford City, and Garden City. With each new location, we built a strong following of loyal customers who shared our love for premium air-dried meats.

Reaching a significant milestone, we expanded to over 10 locations, including an exclusive presence at Perth Airport, catering to local and travelling jerky customers.

growing but keeping our roots
As demand for our products increased, we outgrew our first production facility and relocated to a larger facility in Wangara, significantly increasing our production capacity to keep up with higher demand.

We undertook a comprehensive brand refresh, redesigning our packaging to lift our visual identity with enhanced clarity and aesthetics that better reflected the premium quality of our products.

National growth
Opening our first NSW store
Marking a major step in our national expansion, we entered the New South Wales market by opening our first kiosk in Australia’s most iconic shopping centre, Bondi Junction. This launch set the stage for further growth across New South Wales, establishing The Jerky Co in the Eastern States.

We achieved a defining milestone by winning the Champion Medal at the Perth Royal Food Awards for our latest creation, Great Southern Jerky. Alongside this prestigious recognition, we earned multiple gold, silver, and bronze medals for various flavours, showcasing our dedication to innovation and quality, further cementing us as market leaders.

Expanding the vision
Celebrating a "Decade of Dried Meats," we marked ten years of production with the completion of our state-of-the-art facility, designed to accommodate the growing demand for premium air-dried meats across Australia. With ambitious plans for national and international expansion, we aim to become the global leader in premium air-dried meats.
