Bring your plain bowl of Mi Goreng to life with some Chilli Biltong!

Are you looking for a quick and easy meal to prepare that isn’t plain and boring… Here comes “Spicy Biltong Mi Goreng”. With enough spice to make your eyes water, try this fun dish!

Difficulty 2/10 | Spice Level 8/10 (Optional) | Serves 1


  • 2 x packets of Mi Goreng

  • 100g of Sliced Biltong (Chilli or Extra Hot if you would like it spicy!)

  • Fresh Cut Chilli

  • Parsley


*If you already know how to make Mi Goreng, skip to step 7*

  1. Open your packs of Mi Goreng and remove the flavouring sachets.

  2. Tip the noodles into a bowl, break them up a little so they fit nicely

  3. Boil the kettle, once ready pour over the noodles until they all are covered.

  4. Place the bowl into the microwave and cook for 3 minutes

  5. Once ready remove the bowl from the microwave and drain the water (be careful as this will be steaming hot!)

  6. Once all the water is removed, add the sachet contents to the bowl of noodles, and stir through. If you would like the dish to be not as spicy use one or no chilli sachet.

  7. Grab the unsliced Biltong and slice into as many pieces as you’d like in the noodles (if pre-sliced move onto the next step!).

  8. Place the sliced Biltong on top of the Mi Goreng, feel free to fan this out for presentation if you are looking to impress!

  9. Cut the fresh chilli and add this into the noodles.

  10. Mix through the Mi Goreng, then dig in!
