QUICK & EASY BILTONG NACHOS

Looking for a quick and easy meal that packs protein?

Look no further… We give you “Biltong Nachos”

Replace mince meat with Biltong on your nachos; It has more protein and health benefits! See the recipe below to try it for yourself.

Difficulty 3/10 | Spice level 8/10 | Serves 2-3

Ingredients:

  • 1 x Packet of Corn Chips

  • 300g x Biltong (any variety can work, we used Chilli Fatty which adds spice)

  • Spicy Salsa

  • 1 x Generous Handful Grated Cheese

  • Parsley & Chives

  • Optionals: Chilli, Other Herbs and Garnishes, Cherry Tomatoes

Instructions:

  1. Empty the packet of corn chips onto a plate.

  2. Slice your Biltong (if unsliced).

  3. Spread sliced Biltong over the corn chips, making sure there is enough Biltong to cover all of the plate.

  4. Use a spoon to scoop and spread the salsa over the Biltong and corn chips.

  5. Grab a generous handful of grated cheese, and sprinkle over the plate until all the Biltong and salsa is covered.

  6. Place into a microwave with a cover, and heat for 2-3 minutes until cheese melts

  7. Garnish with Parsley or any other herb
